The School of High Studies Program, by CAPES, aims to support Brazilian Graduate Programs and promote short-term visits to Higher Education Institutions and Brazilian Public Research Institutes or Centers, by professors and researchers from recognized international prestige, working abroad, in all areas of knowledge.
The Amazonian High Studies School in Theoretical Physics is an introductory to mid-level School, held in the Belém Campus of the Federal University of Pará, by the Graduate Program in Physics at the Pará University. In the gateway to Amazonia, the Belém Campus is located on the shore of the river Guamá, one of the rivers which form the Guajará bay.
The Amazonian High Studies School in Theoretical Physics is targeted for young researchers and graduate students in Physics, as well as for last-year undergraduate students, wishing to quickly learn advanced topics in Condensed Matter Physics and Gravitation, from some of the world’s experts.
